Nothing as exciting as last month's update this time, but wanted to make sure I'd checked in and kept us all up to speed on where we were with this campaign.

If you haven't yet checked out the Chicago By Night Backer PDF that was sent out last month, make sure you've logged into your BackerKit account to claim the redemption code. The book is beautiful!

The easiest way to see if you've got digital downloads available is to login to your backerkit account: https://chicago-by-night-v5.backerkit.com/backer/digital_rewards and it'll show anything available. Your backerkit account should also confirm all rewards that you should expect from your reward tier selected.

BACKER PDF VERSION 

This is the first version of Chicago by Night (V5) to be released. We've sent you this initial Backer PDF for three reasons:

1) To thank you for your support! You helped bring this setting to life (so to speak!) and bring this into the world, and you deserve to see it first!  

2) So you can start playing right away! Chicago is ready and waiting for you, and night is fast approaching! It's real, and it's time to start mixing into the intrigue of the city!  

3) To make the final version the best it can be! The design and development teams have done their best to proofread and correct any errors and typos - but some always sneak through. If you catch any typos, incorrect math, visual glitches, and the like, we want to hear about them and correct them before we send the book off to print.

With that in mind, I'd like to introduce the new errata and correction process! 

Onyx Path has launched a special Chicago By Night Errata Form, which you can access here:

Generally, we try to keep errata collection open for the next 2 weeks, although they may be accessible a little longer due to the new nature of this method. Still, please report what you can as soon as possible to make sure we're getting everything covered.

We won't be collecting errata from other spots, just this specific form. Please note this form will be for errata only - typos, incorrect math, page elements that overlap incorrectly, etc. It won't be for book discussion - you can do that in a different thread, or on the Kickstarter comments page.

Also, they already know about the Page XX notations - those are usually corrected after any changes are made and the books are being finalized. 

After any needed corrections are made (based on your feedback!), we will prepare an updated final PDF version of the book and you will receive a notice from DrivethruRPG that you can re-download your file with the latest version. 

You've already made the book a reality with your Kickstarter support. Now you can make it even better by helping us crowdsource any minor errors and corrections.

Hello Kickstarter Coterie,

 Just wanted to throw a quick update out to let you know about Onyx Path and Gen Con 2019. 

As you may have read in Onyx Path's recent Monday Meeting Notes blog, they won't have a booth in the Exhibit Hall this year. But that doesn't mean that Onyx Path won't be at the convention, or that you won't be able to pick up copies of your favorite games.

Instead, Onyx Path will be running seminars and game sessions, and leave the Exhibit Hall business to their sales partners - Studio 2 Publishing and Indie Press Revolution (IPR).

The Onyx Path team (Rich, Matt, Eddy, whoever else shows up...) will mostly be participating in the following panels during the convention: 

• Thursday 3pm – What’s Up With Onyx Path Publishing? panel (Rich Thomas version)
• Friday 11am – What’s Up with Onyx Path Community Content? panel
• Friday 3pm – Freelancing with Onyx Path Publishing? panel
• Saturday 11am – What’s Up with Onyx Path Publishing? panel (Rich-less version)

In addition, there are some programmed game sessions in the Event Guide.

While most of the games are currently marked as sold out this close to the convention, it's always a good idea to double-check if you're really interested. There are sometimes drop outs if people aren't feeling well or are unable to show, and a handful of generic tickets can maybe get you slotted into a vacated chair.

Of course, there will likely be a ton of pick-up and casual games over the Best Four Days in Gaming, so keep your eyes open for anyone wearing a cool T-shirt! I'll be dressed just like my avatar (although it's a few years old now, so imagine with more white in the beard!) so feel free to say hello if you see me!

Not a ton of new info to share (although progress is being made and we're moving ever closer to some reward distribution), but I will share some new art...

Pirates of Pugmire is a chronicle sourcebook for both Pugmire and Monarchies of Mau. It’s usable in either game, or as part of a joint experience. Some highlights include:

* Two new species for players to enjoy: lizards and birds
